Harrogate Blue is a stunning addition to any cheese board, golden-bodied and matured for a minimum of 10 weeks, the optimum time for the cheese to develop exactly the right depth of flavour and creaminess.

The cheese has been a hit since day one, winning its first award just two weeks after launch in 2012. It has a special place in the history of Shepherds Purse as it was the first cheese co-produced by Katie and Caroline (Judy's daughters) after taking over the running of the speciality cheese company.

Harrogate Blue has won many top awards on the international cheese stage since, including a Super Gold and was judged to be the 11th best cheese in the world at the World Cheese Awards in London in 2017/18 and then a Gold in Bergen, Norway 2018/19, and another Gold in Bergamo, Italy 2019/20.

Best Blue Cheese Ever

I love this cheese for sandwiches, for eating at the end of a meal and in recipes that call for blue cheese. It is always delivered on time and with wonderful notes. Oh, that all internet orders were like this!!

Order arrived on time and as usual was in excellent condition. This cheese is really good as a treat just with crackers or added other food such as scrambled eggs for something a little different

I knew how amazing Harrogate blue and Blumin white cheeses are. They were a hit with all my Christmas guests. I was very impressed with the online order delivery which I had not tried before. Could select delivery time which was convenient and the order came carefully packaged to stay chilled. Particularly appreciated the protective wool wrap which I’ve already reused for keeping other food cool! Thank you all at shepherds purse - i was delighted!
