This is wonderful on roasted beetroot & potatoes with a little red onion and later some green lentils in the roasting dish. Then I top with the cheese, a few salad leaves and a balsamic drizzle.

I have been eating Mrs Bell’s Blue for years now and it is, by far, my favourite cheese. What I particularly find is that it is what I would call a very smooth blue cheese unlike many that seem to be either relatively tasteless or too harsh. It is also an excellent consistency holding together well when cut, not crumbly. Ordering from Shepherds Purse is also easy and the cheese arrives within days in excellent packaging that ensures that it keeps at a suitable cool temperature. Overall it is highly recommended.

I really love this one! It’s perfect with figs in the Sourdough Toast recipe. It’s a bit of an expensive treat but definitely worth it.

Love the creamy crumbly texture and taste. Bought the half moon so I must like it ! Cut into portions and have some to friends who are also in love with it now. Found it freezes well, although it is recommended not to.

This is a premium, medium-firmness blue cheese. We thoroughly enjoy it. I also enjoy the challenge of being able to separate the sealing sticky label from the delicate foil wrapping without tearing either. Very satisfying when you succeed.
