When we asked Lottie if she could create a nut-free fruit cake for us, her response was, "Absolutely! Let me think carefully about how to make the very best nut-free fruit cake, and I'll get back to you." And triumphant she was! The samples arrived, and they didn’t last long – moist, rich, and indulgent, just as a truly exceptional fruit cake should be. It even passed our “Dad test” – our dad is the pickiest connoisseur of Christmas cakes and mince pies, and this cake earned his full seal of approval!
Lottie Shaw's Traditional Fruit Cake is hand crafted and baked in their Yorkshire bakery. Perfect with a mug of tea and a slice of cheese ... the Yorkshire way!
